Episode Eighty Five – Taking A Stand At 19 – Isaiah is shunned by Jehovah’s Witnesses

At just 19 years old, when others are experiencing life for the first time after high school whether going to college or starting their lives, Isaiah was leaving a cult. That decision to take a stand didn’t come without the predictably terrible reaction from family and friends that are swept up in a cult that controls their behavior.

The song that Isaiah chose to represent his story is Out of Sight by Chelou

  1. Hi Isaiah so encouraged by your stand, really difficult for you but once you made up your mind everything seemed to fall into place, taking that step to DA, I so agree with announcements know one knows besides DA is far different to being DF, the org is so sneaky they hate those that DA and know exactly why most do as they let them know, but not the congregation.
All the best for the future and thank you for your experience, hope will help others.

  2. Thank you Kat. I really appreciate it, I hope more people wake up soon. It’s only a matter of time 🙂

  3. Hi Isaiah,
    You’re a really great person.
Just wanted to let you know.
    Best of luck!
    Regards
    Alex

  4. Isaiah, your true family awaits. Some are already there (please hug that work friend who “adopted” you for me). And there’s a whole community of former believers who will support you, too. Hang in there.
